Girls Boarding Schools Dehradun

This year was a special year for the Art Department as the mural conceptualized by Mr. Subhasish Ghosh in a technique also devised by him was executed by Shabnam Siddiqui and Bijoysree Das assisted by Chetanya Jhinjha, Anjali, Kashish and Surbhi worked on this 18.5 x 3.6 feet sized project near the swimming pool entrance. It is made out of glass pieces painted with acrylic paint. After the basic design and idea were conceived, it took about three months to execute the same into a beautiful mural. Since it is situated at the entrance of the swimming pool, the theme chosen was Dolphins rising above the waves. It was inaugurated on the day of the Exhibition by some parents and students. Many students are inspired by this mural and look forward to making some more murals on the campus.
