The JEE Advanced 2020 paper was conducted successfully on Sunday by IIT-DELHI amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Almost 96% of the registered candidates appeared for the examination on September 27 2020. The exam was held in 2 slots across the country, the first slot was from 9 am to 12 noon in which 1,51311 candidates appeared for the exam and the second slot was from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm in which 1,50,900 candidates appeared for the exam.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year the jee advanced paper was conducted in 222 cities and over 1000 exam centers in view of the COVID 19 pandemic. Strict protocols were instructed to be followed in the exam centers so that no candidate can get infected from coronavirus. The candidates were given staggered reporting time to avoid overcrowding in the center and to follow the COVID 19 safety guidelines.<\/span><\/p>\n

64% of the candidates were eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced 2020 paper this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

As per an official statement released by IIT, Delhi TCS-ion has provided the largest number of nodes ever for JEE Advanced 2020 so that the exam could be conducted successfully following the social distancing norms. TCS-iON provided approximately 3.4 lakh nodes to accommodate every candidate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Students have different views on the JEE advanced 2020 paper some found the whole paper challenging as compared to last year, some found the physics paper to be tough and chemistry to be easy to moderate level.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nearly 1.6 lakh candidates were registered for the JEE Advanced exam, and the exam was conducted successfully across the country. The IIT Delhi will release the provisional answer key for the exam on September 29 after which the candidates will be allowed to challenge any wrong answer key till a given stipulated time and by paying some amount.<\/span><\/p>\n

The results and the final answer key will be declared by the conducting body on October 5 after which JoSAA or the joint seat allocation authority will start the counselling and seat allocation of the candidates.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
