Oberoi, the founder of East India Hotels Limited, and it is located in the beautiful hill station of Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh. The school was originally founded as a primary school for the children of staff members of the hotel chain, but it soon expanded and has now grown into one of the top boarding schools of India.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The school is affiliated with CBSE and accepts students from all parts of India and abroad. The houses are named after eminent icons &#8211; Tagore House (for boys) is named after famous writer Rabindra Nath Tagore whereas the girls&#8217; hostel is called Neheru House, which is named after former Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Ashok Hall Girls&#8217; Residential School, Ranikhet<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ashok Hall Girls&#8217; Residential School, Ranikhet is an independent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ecoleglobale.com\"><em><strong>boarding school for girls<\/strong><\/em><\/a> in the town of Ranikhet in Uttarakhand, India. It was founded in 2001 by Ashok Kumar Hall, a former army officer who had tried to establish a public school in the town&#8217;s Bhowali area. He later established a school at his own home, which became Ashok Hall Group of Schools. The all-girls boarding school is affiliated with CBSE and was ranked as the best school in Uttarakhand in 2016 by Education World and India Today.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The school offers education from kindergarten to grade twelve. Students are often encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities such as sports and music. The school has a track and field team that competes with other schools and colleges, including those at the university level. Several teams from the school have gone on to participate at national levels. In 2012, the girls&#8217; football team won the bronze medal at an inter-school tournament conducted by SAI, Kolkata; the same year their cricket team won a silver medal at a state-level tournament organized by Khelo India.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Assam Valley School, Balipara<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Set in the lush green landscape of Assam, the Assam Valley School is one of India&#8217;s premier boarding schools.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It&#8217;s a place where the children of well-heeled Indians from the cities come to study. The headmaster, Chris Edwards, says the school is not elitist but designed for children who want to do something with their lives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The idea behind this school is to produce a new generation of Indian leaders, who will be able to handle anything that&#8217;s thrown at them. The Assam Valley School is situated at the foothills of the Himalayas, in the north-eastern state of Assam. The school was founded in 1995 by Tim Morrison and his wife, Lorraine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The independent boarding school educates boys and girls from 5 to 18 years old. The school has 475 pupils.
