The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the schedule for the practical exams, projects, and internal assessments for Class 10 and Class 12 students in winter-bound schools for the 2024-25 academic session. <\/span><\/p>\n

These exams will be conducted from November 5 to December 5, 2024. <\/span>The decision to hold these exams during November and December is based on the fact that these schools will remain closed in January 2025 due to severe winter conditions. <\/span><\/p>\n

CBSE 2025 Winter-bound Schools Practical Exam Schedule<\/b><\/h2>\n

CBSE has released the official dates for practical exams, projects, and internal assessments for students in Class 10 and Class 12 attending winter-bound schools. <\/span><\/p>\n

The exams will be conducted from November 5 to December 5, 2024, considering that these schools will close in January due to harsh winter weather. For all other schools, internal assessments and practical exams are set to begin from January 1, 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the official notification, under the board\u2019s examination policies and study schemes, practical exams, projects, and internal assessments for the academic session 2024-25 will start on January 1, 2025, for all affiliated schools across India<\/a> and abroad. <\/span><\/p>\n

However, schools in winter-bound regions will have their practical exams between November 5 and December 5, 2024, as they remain closed during January due to the cold weather.<\/span><\/p>\n

CBSE Practical Exam 2025: SOPs and Guidelines<\/b><\/h2>\n

The CBSE has also issued detailed SOPs and guidelines for schools conducting the practical exams. These include instructions for mark uploading, appointing examiners, handling unfair practices, and managing exam procedures. Key points from the guidelines are as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Practical exams, projects, and internal assessments for winter-bound schools will be held from November 5 to December 5, 2024.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Schools must upload marks from the start date of the practical exams and ensure all marks are submitted by the last day of the exams.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • The school principal, internal examiner, and external examiner are responsible for ensuring accurate and error-free submission of marks, as no corrections will be allowed after the marks are uploaded.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Depending on the school’s laboratory infrastructure, exams should be conducted in two or three sessions.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Any student found using unfair means or attempting to influence examiners must be reported.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Schools that fail to comply with the given regulations risk having their exams canceled by the board.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Payments to staff during the exams must be processed using the integrated payment system.<\/span><\/li>\n
