And so their approach to learning is different. Andragogy is the process to help adults in learning. Adult learning should focus on students and not on the teachers.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"color: #253b80\"><strong>The Differences<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0A pioneer in the study of adult learning, Malcolm Knowles, observed that best adult learning happens\u00a0when:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Learners understand the importance of knowing or doing something.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Learners are free to learn in their way.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Learners experience Learning.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u200b<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The time is right to learn.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There is a positive and motivating process of learning.<\/span><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"color: #253b80\"><strong>Continuing Education<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0You are continuing your education when you return to a classroom to learn something new which can be listening to personal development CDs in the car or a graduate degree.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"color: #253b80\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Common types of continuing education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Earning an equivalent of high school diploma or GED.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Earning a professional certificate<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0Job training.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Personal development<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Learning languages.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"color: #253b80\"><strong>Where It All Happens<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There are diverse methods available to continue education. The place can be your school which can be used as a traditional classroom. You can study at the time of your choice after a day of work or early morning. The completion of the program might take a few months, hours or years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To remain fully engaged in life in later years or to find the job of your dreams, continuous learning has clear benefits.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"color: #253b80\"><strong>Should You Go Back to School?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So what do you want to accomplish or learn? Do you want to go back to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecoleglobale.com\/\">school<\/a> for GED or a bachelor&#8217;s degree or professional certificate? Do you want to grow personally or want to advance in your field or want to learn a new hobby?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ask yourself some questions, with the understanding of the difference between adult learning and childhood learning:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Why am I thinking about school lately?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">What do I want to achieve?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Am I able to afford it?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">What if I don\u2019t go for it?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Is the time right?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To study, do I still have that required discipline and freedom?\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Can I find the apt school where I can learn the way I want to?\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Will I get the needed encouragement?\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Though there is a lot to think about, if you want to accomplish something, then make it happen, and there are many people available to help you.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Do you remember the days of teacher-centered learning, the classrooms with chairs and desks facing the teacher at the front of the room and you as a student have to do whatever you were told to and have to sit quietly and listen to the teacher?
