  • US ELECTION 2020: TRUMP CLAIMS TO CHALLENGE ALL BIDEN CLAIMED STATES

 

The US Election has stirred a lot of activities nationwide as the pro-Trump and anti-Trump protesters took to the streets in Manhattan. Former Vice President, Joe Biden is currently leading with 264 electoral votes. Donald Trump and state Republican Party has filed lawsuits in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Georgia. The lawsuit in Georgia was dismissed by Judge James Bass. He did not provide any explanation for his decision in a one-hour hearing that took place on Thursday.

 

  • SECOND BATCH OF THREE RAFALE JETS REACHES HOME BASE AMBALA ON THURSDAY

 

The Indian Air Force’s Rafale fighter jets reached their home base in Ambala on Thursday. The second batch of Rafale jets consisted of three jets which took off from France and reached Jamnagar airbase located in Gujarat on Wednesday. The jets landed in Jamnagar airbase without any stopover. Refueling was supported by the Indian and the French tankers.

 

  • ARNAB GOSWAMI REMANDED IN JUDICIAL CUSTODY TILL NOVEMBER 18

 

The Editor-In-Chief of Republic TV, Arnab Goswami was arrested on Wednesday for abetment to suicide case which took place in 2018. The suicide victim in his suicide note had blamed Arnab Goswami and two others for the case. Goswami has been taken into judicial custody and he spends his night in a local school which has been designated as a COVID-19 centre for Alibag Prison. This is to complete his quarantine before being transferred to the main prison. 

 

  • BIHAR STATE ELECTIONS 2020: NITISH KUMAR DECLARES THAT THIS WOULD BE HIS LAST ELECTION

 

Two phases of voting are over in Bihar and the battle for the next Chief Minister is prominent. Chirag Paswan recently attacked Nitish Kumar with his claims saying that he would have to bow before Tejashwi Yadav after November 10 when then results will be declared. Nitish Kumar also said in one of his addresses that this is likely to be his last election. 

Chirag Paswan also accused Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of poorly handling the COVID-19 pandemic, increasing rate of unemployment and no development in the state of Bihar. The final phase of voting in Bihar will take place on November 7 and the results will be declared on November 10.

The total fatalities in India due to the Pandemic stands at 1.25 lakh. The United States of America is still the most affected country with nearly 1.18 lakh new cases reported yesterday. An upsurge is also taking place in Europe. The recovery rate is well over 90% and the fatality rate remains around 1.49 per cent.
