Best Girl Schools in India
The 69th Annual District Athletics Meet was held on the 31st of October and the 1st of November 2015, at RIMC, Dehradun.
Seventy-six girls from Ecole Globale International Girls’ School participated in the event and brought laurels to the school 37 girls participated in athletics and 39 girls went for the march-past. The girls bagged 10 medals in all (2 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals) The Prize winners are as follows:
In the under 18 category:
Aasiya Husain won 2 gold medals in the Javelin Throw and the Open Group Javelin Throw.
Kangana Multani won 2 silver medals in the Discus Throw and the Shot Put Throw.
Varnika Jaiswal won a bronze medal in the High Jump event.
Trisha Kapur won a bronze medal in Shot Put Throw and Kavya Pharasi won a bronze medal in the 200 mtr Run.
Aastha Lal won a bronze medal in the Javelin Throw in the under 16 Category.
Parul Khandelwal won a bronze medal in Long Jump in the under 14 category.
The school overall got the trophy for the ‘Best Discipline’ for showing discipline in track events & disciplined behavior off field too. We congratulate the girls and their coaches on their achievements.
31 अक्टूबर और 01 नवम्बर को आर. आई. एम. सी. देहरादून जनपद में उनसठवां एथलेटिक्स मीट का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें एकोल ग्लोबाल इंटरनेशनल गर्ल्स स्कूल की छात्राओं ने सर्वश्रेष्ठ अनुशासन की ट्रोफी 10 पदक हासिल किये |
एकोल की 76 छात्राओं ने इस प्रतियोगिता में भाग लिया था, जिनमें से 37 छात्राओं ने एथलेटिक्स में भाग लिया और 39 छात्राओं ने मार्च-पास्ट में भाग लिया | यहाँ की छात्राओं ने 2 स्वर्ण, 2 रजत, और 6 कांस्य पदक की प्राप्ति के साथ अपने विद्यालय का नाम रोशन किया |
18 श्रेणी के तहत विजेताओं के नाम —
आशिया हुसैन ने एकल भाला फेंक में और वर्ग भाला फेंक में 2 स्वर्ण पदक , कंगना मुल्तानी ने चक्का फेंक और गोला फेंक में 2 रजत पदक , वर्णिका जायसवाल ने ऊँची कूद में 1 कांस्य पदक , त्रिशा कपूर ने चक्का फेंक में एक कांस्य पदक और काव्या फारसी ने 200 मीटर दौड़ में 1 कांस्य पदक प्राप्त किये |
16 श्रेणी के तहतकिये —आस्था लाल ने भाला फेंक में कांस्य पदक प्राप्त किये |
14 श्रेणी के तहत पारुल खेंडल ने ऊँची कूद में एक कांस्य पदक प्राप्त किये | सर्वश्रेष्ठ स्कूल अनुशासित ट्रोफी प्राप्त कर स्कूल ने खेल भावना वाली टीम की ट्रोफी हासिल की | उप प्रधानाचार्या श्रीमती सोनल रावत ने स्कूल की सभी छात्राओं को तथा कोच को बधाई दी |
