Kids are very vulnerable to viruses as their immune system is still in the developing phase, and that’s why the Coronavirus can infect them very quickly.

So what we can do best is to provide you with some more information which can help you in preventing your children from COVID-19.

Vitamin C is often said to be the best way to improve our immune system. It can increase the production of white blood cells (WBCs), which helps the body to fight with the infections.

  • Red bell pepper

It might surprise you that red bell peppers have higher vitamin C content as compared to citrus fruits. Red bell peppers also have beta carotene, which can help your immune system, your skin and also helps in keeping your eyes healthy.

  • Broccoli

Also, it helps people in reducing their cholesterol levels.

Yogurt, such as the greek yogurt, boosts the body’s immune system to fight against viruses and other diseases.

Always get plain yogurt rather than the flavored ones. It also has high vitamin D, which helps the body’s immune system to grow stronger.

  • Almonds

When you talk about the foods rich in vitamin E content, then almonds will come in the first number. It helps the immune system to remain healthy and reduces fat accumulation in your arteries and blood vessels.

Almonds also have healthy fats, which can strengthen your body’s defenses.

While serving almonds, make sure you don’t give large amounts to your kids and make sure you remove the outer shell and chop it into small pieces for your kids as little kids are not able to eat nuts properly and this may result in choking.

  • Green tea

Apart from these, green tea also has a high amount of amino acid, which improves our germ-fighting capacity and reduces the risk of illness.

Papaya has vitamin C, which is called papain, which is a special kind of digestive enzyme and helps in reducing inflammation.

Apart from these foods, many other foods can help you in boosting your child’s immune system. But you shouldn’t entirely depend on these foods as for proper nourishment and development of a child; you should provide him a decent meal.

And always consult a doctor before including any of the above items into your child’s daily meal as they may have allergies to certain food items.

Doctors say that we should always eat healthy to develop a natural resistance against diseases. And with the Coronavirus surrounding us in the corner and increasing its wrath day by day, it’s up to us as parents to help our kids in fighting the Coronavirus in every possible way we can.
