CHADWICK BOSEMAN, THE BLACK PANTHER ACTOR, DIES OF CANCER AT 43

The entire world was left shocked and shaken when the news of the popular actor’s death came into light last night. Chadwick Boseman, a famous Hollywood actor, is well known for playing several iconic roles like the Black Panther, James Brown, Jackie Robinson, etc. He earned his fame with the role of Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and became beloved among the masses. 

The actor lost his battle to cancer on Friday and passed away at the age of 43 at his home in Los Angeles with his wife and family alongside. The actor had been struggling with Colon cancer since 2016. Boseman had never publically addressed his diagnosis. Chadwick had no children and was living with his wife and family. 

ABOUT CHADWICK BOSEMAN

Chadwick Boseman was born in South Carolina in the United States of America. He had graduated from the top Ivy League College, Howard University. He initially played small roles in television at the beginning of his career. 2013 was a turning point of his life when he played the role of Jackie Robinson, baseball star, opposite Harrison Ford. His phenomenal portrayal of this character earned him recognition, and he became a Hollywood star.

In the following year, he played the role of James Brown. His performance was highly appreciated.

The demise of the actor came as a massive shock to the Hollywood film fraternity and people all over the globe. He happened to pass away on a day when Major League baseball was celebrating Jackie Robinson Day. The League tweeted praise for Boseman’s performance in the movie 42 stating that it will serve as a “powerful vehicle” to narrate Jackie’s story to the audience for “generations to come”.

Jordan Peele, actor-director in Hollywood, also expressed his shock saying that the news came as a “crushing blow”. 

As the news spread all across social media, many came forward to express their shock and sadness. The famous actor and writer Issa Rae said that the news broke her. Chis Evans, known for his role as Captain America, said that Chadwick was a very committed artist who had a lot of amazing work still left to create.

The USA Presidential Election candidate, Joe Biden, also tweeted that Boseman was a true inspiration for everyone. 

Chadwick Boseman had previously worked as an actor in small television roles and also as a writer for some time before becoming famous in Hollywood.

BLACK PANTHER 

The role of Black Panther, imprinted in the minds of the people when the movie was released two years ago. It earned a whopping $1.3 Billion worldwide and was the only Marvel movie to be nominated for the Oscars. 

The last role of Boseman saw him standing silently at the funeral of Tony Stark in the last avenger movie: Endgame, in the Black Panther suit.

The sequel of the Black Panther was one of the most highly anticipated projects of the Marvel franchise and was in progress.

Black Panther was considered to be a revolutionary movie in the political and social forefront, especially for the black community. The actor had himself expressed his struggle as a person belonging to a minority saying that no one would have ever anticipated a black super-hero with a love story and spiritual storyline. The movie created a lot of buzzes globally and was also nominated for the Oscars as the best movie. 

Hollywood will always remember this talented actor and his contributions to the Hollywood film fraternity. The demise of the actor is being considered to be a major loss to the industry, and many stars are expressing their condolences on the various social media platforms.
