Ms. Toral Sharan at Ecole Globale International Girls’ School is the chief mentor in the field of Career Guidance and Counselling. Ms. Sharan has twenty years of experience and was the first professional Counsellor employed by Welham Boys’ School Dehradun. Ms. Sharan has been solely responsible for building fully fledged Career cells, guidance on subject choices, profiling for college entry and applications both within India and Abroad.
Her endeavours have always been to weave career readiness into the academic fabric believing a holistic education requires career counselling.
Her studies have been fully completed in the United Kingdom and she has achieved several professional development certifications and diplomas in integral careers guidance and related work. She has worked with several leading schools: Welham Boys’ School, Hopetown School, the Asian School and Mondrian High, emphasizing career counselling as an integral part of a student’s development running side by side with their academic journey.
Her role of a designated Counsellor includes from profiling to placements and has successfully brought through her work awareness to the school’s faculty and fraternities at large. Her experiences, both professional and personal, have enabled her to work across boards CBSE, ICSE, and CAIE &IB and within each academic structure she has brought enriching and engaging strengths to systems with her continuous effort and belief.
