Trips & Expeditions

At Ecole Globale, we take the view that some of the best lessons happen outside the classroom entirely. Travel, done well, teaches things textbooks can't, which is why we run a full programme of trips, expeditions, and hands-on learning built to grow curiosity, independence, and a wider view of the world.

These journeys are built to mix genuine learning with actual enjoyment. School-year excursions take students to places with real historical, cultural, or environmental weight - heritage sites, museums, local communities, regional food and tradition - giving classroom subjects a context they wouldn't otherwise have, and building respect for ways of life different from their own.

Adventure plays an equal part. As a participant in the International Award for Young People (IAYP) programme, the school pushes students to take on real challenge and find out what they're capable of. Adventure camps - trekking, cycling, swimming, tent pitching, and other outdoor work - build confidence, teamwork, and leadership by putting students somewhat outside their comfort zone, which tends to be where the real learning happens.

International travel adds another layer, exposing students to new cultures and institutions that reinforce the international outlook Ecole tries to build from the start. MUNs, field visits, and academic excursions add to this by putting students in direct contact with real-world issues rather than just reading about them.

None of this comes at the cost of safety. Every trip is carefully planned and supervised by experienced faculty, security staff, and medical personnel, so these experiences stay both enriching and genuinely secure.

Every journey, in the end, is a chance to learn, connect, and come away with something worth remembering.
