CBSE Class X and XII exam will commence on 4 may schedule includes double shifts for the first time

CBSE announced the date sheet for class X and XII and exams will start from 4 May 2021 under a Covid Safety protocol. Exams duration will be reduced from 45 days to just 39 days so there will be double shifts in Class XII exams.

On Tuesday, CBSE announced the date sheets for the Classes X and XII upcoming board exams. Class X exams will begin from 6 May and will be held in only one shift from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm and according to schedule, the CBSE exam 2021 for  Class X will conclude on 7th June. Teachers of the best CBSE schools like schools in Dehradun start early preparation for board exams that held in May 2021.

The main highlight of the date sheet was that Class XII board examinations will begin on 4th May 2021 and they will be held in double shifts in order to minimize the duration of exams. The First shift of Class Xll begins from 10:30 – 1:30 and the second shift will be starting from 2:30 pm till  5:30 pm and the exam for CBSE Class XII will conclude on 2021 June 10, 2021.

The CBSE Class X and XII exams schedule 2021 includes 114 subjects and will be over in just  39 days,  whereas last year the duration was 45 days which means this year’s exam will be complete in a lesser time exam. It will be on only four days where there will double shift for exams which is for those subjects which are not offered in schools abroad. This year the students will also have an extra 15 minutes to read the question papers.

CBSE has come up with a well-thought date sheets schedule as they have given enough days gaps between two board exams so that students can have enough time to prepare for the exam and this is due to that no stream of science, commerce, or arts doesn’t have an unfair advantage and everyone gets the fair amount of gaps in exams

Additionally, CBSE has cut down almost 30% of the syllabus and the examination papers have been prepared in more option based questions whereas practical examination is considered CBSE schools have given the flexibility to individual schools where they can schedule practical exams anytime from 1 March 2021 till their theoretical exam.
