NEET 2020 RESULT ANNOUNCED BY NATIONAL TESTING AGENCY

The national testing agency has announced the NEET 2020 results on their official website, i.e. ntaneet.nic.in. After being postponed several times due to covid 19, the exam was finally conducted on September 14 2020. The NEET 2020 results were expected to be released on October 12. Still, the supreme court of India directed NTA to conduct the special exam of NEET on October 14 for the students who weren’t able to appear for the exam on September 14 due to covid19 infection or travelling problems or residing in containment zones. Hence the result got delayed and was finally announced on October 16 along with the final answer key and merit list.

The total number of candidates registered for the NEET 2020 exam was around 1.597 million, and despite coronavirus pandemic, nearly 85 to 90% of registered candidates appeared for the examination. Apart from this, some candidates who missed the exam on September 14 due to the pandemic took the test on October 14. The number of candidates who appeared on Wednesday was nearly 300.

  • Click on the link that says NEET EXAM RESULTS 2020
  • Enter the required details like
    • Examination roll number
    • Date of birth
    • Other details
  • Click on submit button.
  • Take a print out of the result for future reference.

WHO ARE THE TOPPERS?

This year the toppers have scored a 100% result scoring 720 out of 720 marks. Both Soyeb Aftab of Odisha and a] Akansha Singh of Delhi have obtained 100% marks in NEET 2020, but Soyeb Aftab stood first due to the tiebreaker policy of neet 2020.

NEET 2020 CUT OFF

NEET 2020 cut off is the minimum marks required by the candidate to become eligible for applying into MBBS and BDS courses. The neet cutoff changes every year depending on various factors like difficulty of the paper, the number of aspirants appearing for exam etc.
