The Activity Hour turned into a fun-filled session of joyful learning as the English Department guided students to take their lessons beyond the textbook and into creativity.
Grades 4 and 5 designed their very own Superhero Identity Cards, proudly explaining how their unique qualities made them true superheroes. Grade 6 brought their chapter on Comets and the Moon to life by creating imaginative craftwork inspired by celestial objects. Grade 7 transformed language into art by pictorially depicting well-known idioms, showcasing both understanding and creativity. Grade 8 experimented with concrete poetry, arranging words visually on the page to form striking pictures that reflected the themes of their poems.
It was an engaging hour that blended imagination with learning proving once again that language can be explored, experienced, and enjoyed in endless creative ways.
