Beyond Borders: An Educational Journey Through Italy and Switzerland

45 students and four teacher escorts embarked on a nine-day educational journey through Italy and Switzerland, blending history, culture, innovation and experiential learning.

The journey began in Rome, where visits to Vatican City, the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and the Colosseum brought history and art to life. Students explored the Leaning Tower of Pisa before participating in a truffle hunt and fresh pasta-making workshop, gaining insight into Italy’s rich traditions and culinary heritage.

At Maranello’s Ferrari Museum, they experienced the intersection of innovation, design and precision, while Milan offered a glimpse into Italy’s architectural grandeur and world-renowned fashion industry through an interactive expert session.

In Switzerland, students enjoyed a chocolate-making workshop in Zurich, witnessed the spectacular Rhine Falls and concluded their journey at Mt. Titlis and Lucerne, where breathtaking alpine landscapes and charming lakeside streets provided unforgettable experiences.

More than a tour, the excursion fostered friendships, cultural appreciation and lifelong memories. By engaging directly with diverse traditions, landscapes and communities, students returned with broader perspectives, reaffirming the school’s belief that the most meaningful learning happens when education reaches beyond borders.
