The Basketball team of Ecole was invited to the Indian Public School on the 28th of March for a Friendly match. It was a spirited contest wherein our team won the match by an astonishing 17-40 trouncing Indian Public School on home turf. Our girls have been training very hard and were prepared to give a tough fight. In fact before the commencement of the match, the Principal questioned Alina “Will it be a win or a lose?” and with utmost confidence, she replied, “It’ll be a win”, and our team justified her statement on court.
Our coach Mr. Sahil Dahiya congratulated the players for their brilliant performance but also reminded them of the importance of regularity in practice to sustain this excellence. After the match the School team met many coaches from different schools and got a unique perspective towards the game from each of them. It was fascinating to know that Principal of IPS was himself an avid sportsman with rich experience in both Basketball and Volleyball.
We are looking forward to many more practice matches for a brilliant performance in the future.
