The Infirmary team, comprising the RMO and two staff nurses—Sakshi ma’am and Suzanna ma’am—conducted an awareness session on the topic “Bite Right, Eat Right, and Hormone-Balanced Diet.”
The RMO delivered a 25-minute lecture providing essential medical insights into maintaining a hormone-balanced diet. She addressed common myths surrounding healthy eating and shared practical tips on preventing hormonal imbalances through proper dietary habits.
Following this, the staff nurses conducted a 5-minute talk focusing on basic health and personal hygiene, including menstrual hygiene, its safe disposal, and the importance of consuming meals rich in essential proteins, carbohydrates, and healthy fats.
The session was interactive, with students actively participating and listening attentively. An open question-and-answer segment at the end encouraged students to raise queries and clarify their doubts.
Additionally, the children showed great enthusiasm in engaging with the charts and demonstrations displayed during the event.
