The Third Edition of the Doon Cup, hosted by Ecole Globale International Girls’ School from April 23rd to 25th, unfolded as a spectacular showcase of skill, sportsmanship, and camaraderie. Over three electrifying days, girls from nine prestigious schools battled fiercely in the Under-14 and Under-19 categories, delivering nail-biting finishes, breathtaking goals, and tactical brilliance that kept spectators riveted from kickoff to final whistle.
Across all matches, the Doon Cup was a festival of football excellence. Each game showcased electrifying dribbles, precision passes, and powerful shots, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats. Several players stood out with unforgettable performances whether through incredible saves, clinical goals, or strategic playmaking highlighting the immense talent and dedication behind every team. The competition culminated with Pinegrove School, Himachal, clinching the championship titles in both the Under-14 and Under-19 categories. The host school, Ecole Globale International Girls’ School, proudly secured the runners-up position in the Under-14 bracket and earned the prestigious Shield Winner award in the Under-19 category. Other top contenders included Himjyoti School, Woodstock School, Modern School Vasant Vihar, Wynberg Allen School, Hopetown Girls’ School, The Asian School, and Unison World School.
