After intense preparation and hype which had carried on for the past two weeks, on 14th April the outstanding group singers showcased their talent in front of the School in the Inter House Folk Singing Competition. The Chief Guest was Ms Jyoti Gulati( shout out to Ecoliers who waited patiently for the Judge to arrive, who seemed to take forever) All the four Houses performed with energy and passion. The melodies of Folk Music echoed in the MPH as Ignis House started off with the folk song of Himachal Pradesh followed by Aer House portraying their Rajasthani self with the magnificent moustache and turban. Then the Terra House uplifted everyone’s Punjabi spirit with their rhythmic claps and beats. Last but definitely not the least Aqua House which gave a jawdropping performance with the soulful Sufi Kashmiri classic. It was a wonderful evening soaked in melody and colours of India.
