    Workshop on Inclusive Education

On 13 July 2026 (Monday), we attended an online workshop on Inclusive Education, facilitated by Ms. Apurva. The session focused on understanding learner diversity, highlighting that children differ in their thinking styles, learning pace, interests, attention, strengths, emotional responses, backgrounds, and abilities. The facilitator emphasized that every child has unique potential and deserves an inclusive, respectful, and supportive learning environment.

An important takeaway was the use of inclusive language in classrooms. Instead of negative remarks, teachers were encouraged to use positive, growth-oriented statements that build confidence, encourage effort, and foster a sense of belonging. The workshop also discussed the legal framework for child safety, introducing the laws, policies, and provisions that hold teachers and educational institutions accountable for ensuring children’s safety, dignity, and well-being.

The workshop was highly informative and reinforced the importance of empathy, positive communication, and inclusive teaching practices to create classrooms where every learner feels safe, valued, and empowered to succeed.
