The 24th Asian Challenge Inter-School English Debate Competition was held on Saturday, 18th April 2026 at The Asian School. The event aimed to foster effective communication skills and promote awareness of contemporary issues among students. The topic for the debate was, “This House believes that environmental protection must take precedence over national economic interests.”Aaliya Garodia and Amoolya Aswini Agarwal represented Ecole for the debate, the former speaking for the motion while the latter speaking against it.
Each speaker was allotted three minutes to present their arguments, followed by a rebuttal round to address questions. Both girls presented their arguments confidently and thoughtfully. They were cheered by an audience of 10 Ecoliers who had accompanied them to witness the event.It was a wonderful exposure for all our girls.
