On 22nd April, Earth Day was observed with a special assembly dedicated to honouring our planet. The programme included prayers for Mother Earth, a thought for the day, news highlights, and a heartfelt poem celebrating the environment.
To mark the occasion, a plantation drive was organized for students of Grades 4 and 5. The children participated enthusiastically, planting saplings of Amla and Rudraksha trees. They also sowed seeds of cucumber, chilli, and eggplant, carefully watering and nurturing the soil. The activity was both joyful and educational, helping students build a deeper connection with nature and understand their responsibility towards protecting it.
It is hoped that these plants will grow alongside the children, providing fresh air, fruits, and shade in the future. The staff added to the spirit by dressing in green and brown, symbolizing Mother Earth. The celebration inspired students to take meaningful steps towards a greener planet.
