An educational visit to the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, Dehradun was organized on 27 July 2026 for 16 students to enhance their understanding of Earth sciences. During the visit, a scientist provided an in-depth explanation of different types of rocks, tectonic plates, seismic activities, and the formation of earthquakes. Students also observed digital seismic instruments used to record and analyze earthquake waves. The museum displayed valuable geological specimens, fossils, minerals, and informative exhibits on the Himalayan cryosphere. The interactive session enriched the students’ scientific knowledge and helped them understand the importance of geological research and disaster preparedness. It was an informative and inspiring learning experience.
