Mr Naveen Sharma from school participated in an Educators’ Meet conducted on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, at the Bidholi Campus of University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun.
The event commenced with a warm welcome by the School for Life (SFL) of UPES. SFL is a unique initiative aimed at equipping students with essential 21st-century skills through life skills programmes, exploratory learning, and signature courses. Educators from different schools and academic institutions participated actively, making the meet highly engaging and enriching.
Distinguished speakers and academic leaders from UPES shared valuable insights on contemporary educational practices, innovation in teaching–learning processes, and the evolving role of educators. The sessions encouraged open discussion and active interaction among participants. Towards the conclusion of the programme, Mr. Manish Madaan, Registrar of UPES, addressed the gathering and shared the vision and future roadmap of the University.
A major highlight of the Educators’ Meet was the visit to the Robotics Lab – BEST (Bajaj Engineering Skills Training). This state-of-the-art facility has been launched in partnership with Bajaj Auto Ltd. to upskill engineering students in advanced manufacturing and automation. The lab features cutting-edge infrastructure focused on Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, and Industry 4.0, effectively addressing current industry skill gaps.
Overall, the Educators’ Meet proved to be an insightful and inspiring experience. It provided valuable exposure to innovative educational initiatives and strengthened professional collaboration among educators.
