To help new boarding students from Grades 4 to 8 settle into their new environment, the Counselling Team conducted a series of fun and meaningful team-building and ice-breaking activities on Saturday 18th April.
One of the highlights was the “Hostel Happiness Meter,” where students shared their first experiences and the little joys of hostel life. From new friendships to comforting routines, their reflections beautifully captured the excitement of new beginnings.
Adding a creative twist, the “UNO Builders” activity brought students together to construct towers using UNO cards. Filled with laughter, teamwork, and a bit of friendly competition, the activity encouraged collaboration, patience, and innovative thinking.
These sessions not only broke the ice but also helped students feel connected, confident, and at home. A perfect start to their boarding school journey!
