Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August with great patriotic fervor and enthusiasm. The celebration began with the hoisting of the national flag, accompanied by spirited chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai.” A beautiful balloon arch in the tricolour adorned the venue, setting a festive tone for the event.
The soulful rendition of a patriotic song by Babita Ma’am and Anushay Sir added depth and emotion to the occasion. Following this, the school Council members and Grade 4 girls released tricolour balloons into the sky which was greeted with loud applause from all present.
The celebrations continued in the MPH, where a stirring speech by Mr. Neeraj captivated the audience. This was followed by a powerfully choreographed dance performance that paid tribute to the sacrifices of our armed forces, drawing thunderous applause from all present.
An Inter-House Classical Song Competition further enhanced the festive spirit of the day. The event concluded with students enjoying sweets and changing into vibrant ethnic attire, adding a cultural touch to the celebration.
