The Inter-House Creative Writing Competition was held on 23rd July bringing together budding writers from Grades 4 to 12. Each House was represented by three participants—one each from the Junior (Grades 4–6), Intermediate (Grades 7–9), and Senior (Grades 10–12) categories. The Junior participants were tasked with writing a descriptive paragraph of 150–200 words on the topic “A Train Journey Through the Countryside.” They painted vivid scenes of rolling landscapes, bustling stations, and charming rural views. The Senior participants were challenged to write a short play (1000–1200 words) on the theme “Welcome to the Afterlife, Please Hold”a creative scenario where a teenager wakes up in a call center for the newly deceased. The plays explored themes of morality, identity, and bureaucracy with wit and originality.Entries were judged on creativity, language, adherence to the prompt, and correct use of format. The competition proved to be an inspiring platform for expression and storytelling across all age groups.
