The Ecoliers participated in the Junior District Basketball Championship 2026 held at The Doon School from 8th to 11th May 2026. The championship provided the team with valuable exposure to competitive district-level basketball and offered an excellent opportunity for the players to test their skills against strong teams from across the region.
Throughout the tournament, the team displayed commendable coordination, determination, and sportsmanship. Their participation helped the players gain confidence, strengthen their understanding of game strategies, and experience the intensity and discipline required at higher levels of competition.
The closely contested quarterfinal match against Army Public School, Clement Town further highlighted the team’s resilience and fighting spirit. A significant highlight of the championship was the selection of two Ecole girls to represent the district at the upcoming Junior State Basketball Championship to be held at Parade Ground.
