Kaushal Bodh

A CBSE Capacity Building Programme on “Kaushal Bodh” was conducted on 17 August 2026 at The Himalayan International School, Vikas Nagar. Four teachers from our school Mr. Bijoy Halder, Ms. Shalini Sendri, Ms. Prakriti Kala, and Mr. Naveen Sharma participated in the workshop. The session was facilitated by Ms. Kiran Dalal, CBSE Master Trainer, Resource Person for Teacher Training, and former Principal of Delhi Public School, Rohtak.

Through engaging discussions, interactive activities, and practical insights, the workshop focused on effective implementation of Kaushal Bodh for students of Grades 6–8. It emphasised practical skills, creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, experiential learning, and independent thinking.

The participating teachers were divided into 12 groups and assigned project-based tasks involving student portfolios and presentations. Using the materials provided, the groups collaboratively prepared charts and working models on different topics within a specified time. The activity provided hands-on experience in identifying real-life challenges, developing solutions, executing projects, collaborating, and reflecting on learning.

The workshop also highlighted the importance of student portfolios, continuous assessment, reflection, and systematic documentation, demonstrating how skill-based activities can be effectively integrated into classroom learning.
