    Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Session

    An interactive session on menstrual hygiene was conducted in the school infirmary for Grade 8 students to create awareness about menstrual health and hygienic practices.

    The session began with a short ice-breaking activity to make the students feel comfortable and encourage open participation. This was followed by a brief introduction to the basics of menstruation and the importance of maintaining proper hygiene during menstrual cycles. Students showed great enthusiasm and actively participated throughout the session. Key theoretical aspects related to menstrual health were also discussed.

    Various feminine hygiene products available in the market were introduced, and the importance of choosing appropriate products was explained. Special emphasis was placed on the safe and hygienic disposal of sanitary products to maintain cleanliness and protect the environment.

    A demonstration on the correct use of sanitary napkins and their proper disposal was conducted with the help of student volunteers, which helped students understand the process clearly and practically.

    Staff Nurse Sakshi concluded the session with a quick revision of the important points discussed and encouraged students to adopt healthy menstrual hygiene practices.

    The session ended with group photographs, marking a meaningful and informative learning experience for the students.
