Grade 6 swapped classrooms for conifers on Saturday 13th February as they set off on a cheerful nature walk, accompanied by five enthusiastic teacher-escorts. What began as a short trek quickly turned into an adventure sprinkled with laughter, discovery, and a dash of mountain magic.
With scenic views all around, the girls marched ahead in high spirits while Hardik Sir seamlessly transitioned into “Guide Extraordinaire,” sharing fascinating trivia about pine trees, the workings of the forest department, solar panels, and the surrounding landscape.
Adding to the charm were a few friendly mountain dogs who appointed themselves unofficial guardians of the group. The trek concluded on the happiest of notes at a roadside eatery serving hot, piping Maggi and steaming tea.
Between the cool mountain breeze, breathtaking views, and a bus ride that doubled as a full-blown karaoke session, the outing was an undeniable hit. In fact, requests for the “next trip” began before this one even officially ended!
