Ecole Globale proudly hosted the 3rd Sardarni Kawaljeet Kaur Memorial Basketball Tournament for Girls from 27th to 30th August, welcoming ten prestigious schools from across the region. The tournament, played in a league-cum-knockout format, witnessed an exciting display of skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
The opening ceremony set an energetic tone, with an inspiring oath-taking and a motivational address by Mr. Tushal Singh, international basketball player and chief guest. His journey and words encouraged players to pursue excellence both on and off the court.
The league matches saw exceptional gameplay, with teams showcasing tactical awareness and individual brilliance. As the tournament progressed to the knockout rounds, the intensity soared marked by tight scores, fast breaks, and thrilling finishes. Defensive resilience and quick reflexes matched dynamic offensive strategies, keeping spectators engaged throughout.
Wynberg Allen School emerged victorious, with Ecole Globale as Runner Up, and Meerut Public Girls School claiming the 2nd Runner Up position. The tournament concluded with a prize ceremony graced by Mr. Faisal Khan, national-level basketball player, who applauded the athletes’ spirit and dedication.
