A workshop on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 was conducted in the school on 23rd January for the faculty members. The session was led by the resource person, Dr R. P. Singh, who provided valuable insights into the vision and key features of the policy. He explained how NEP 2020 marks a significant improvement over previous policies by focusing on holistic development, flexibility in learning, and skill-based education.
Through interactive discussions, Dr Singh elaborated on important aspects such as art-integrated learning and experiential learning, helping teachers understand how these approaches can be effectively implemented in classrooms. The session was highly engaging and practical, as teachers worked in groups to design lesson plans that clearly outlined learning objectives, expected outcomes, and teaching strategies aligned with the policy.
The workshop proved extremely beneficial for the teachers, equipping them with fresh perspectives and practical tools to make teaching more engaging, meaningful, and learner-centric.
