    World Health Day at 2026

A special session was conducted for students of Grades 4 to 7 in the school infirmary to mark World Health Day. The session aimed to create awareness about health, science, and environmental responsibility in an engaging and age-appropriate manner.

The session began with an interactive ice-breaking activity to help students feel comfortable and involved. This was followed by a brief introduction to the World Health Organization (WHO), including its inception and the significance of World Health Day.

The theme for World Health Day 2026 was then explained, with a focus on how science contributes to improving people’s lives. Practical, relatable examples from everyday life were shared to help students understand the importance of scientific advancements in health and well-being.

Environmental concerns were also highlighted, emphasizing the role individuals can play in protecting the environment and maintaining good health. Students were encouraged to think about small but meaningful actions they can take in their daily routines.

An interactive segment followed, where student volunteers listed key tips and takeaways from the session on charts. This activity helped reinforce learning and encouraged participation.

Staff nurses played a vital role in the session by presenting their charts and explaining concepts in simple and clear language. Their involvement helped bridge the gap between theory and practical healthcare understanding.

The session concluded with group photographs, marking a successful and engaging learning experience for all participants.
