A Spanish Celebration at École!

A little Spanish, a lot of laughter, and a whole lot of culture! The National Spain Day assembly brought a cheerful touch of Spain to École, giving students a glimpse into the country’s colourful traditions and vibrant way of life. The assembly introduced students to Spain’s famous cities, delicious cuisine, traditional music and useful Spanish vocabulary.

The excitement continued with a lively flamenco dance performance, as both students and teachers brought the passion, energy and moves of this famous Spanish art form to the stage. One of the highlights was a fun role-play of La Tomatina, the famous festival in Buñol where people come together for a playful tomato-throwing celebration.

The performance added a splash of colour and plenty of excitement to the celebration! Students discovered that learning about another country can be just as enjoyable as travelling there. It was a lovely opportunity to appreciate a different culture, explore new traditions and learn beyond the classroom.
