Cambridge School Leaders Meet
Ms Vinietaa Bhardwaj attended the Cambridge School Leaders Meet at Pacific World School, Greater Noida on 9th October 2026. The meet included sessions on AI in education, STEM pathway education and developing a global perspective among students.
The session by Dan Bray, The director of Assessment, International Education, on AI highlighted the need to use technology thoughtfully and responsibly. The key message was that humans must remain in control and AI should support, rather than replace, human thinking.
The importance of writing, making notes and developing independent thinking was emphasised. The discussion also highlighted how excessive dependence on AI may affect students’ concentration, memory and retention of knowledge. Another informative session focused on STEM pathway education as an additional learning opportunity for students.
It aims to build strong subject knowledge, practical skills and academic confidence, while providing additional support for competitive examinations such as JEE and NEET. It was clarified that the STEM pathway complements existing learning and is not a replacement for regular competitive examination preparation.
The discussions on global perspectives and preparing students for an increasingly unpredictable world were also valuable. Overall, the meet was an informative and eye- opening experience, offering useful insights into the changing needs of education.
