Cross Country At 2026

There are some mornings that begin with an alarm, and then there are mornings that begin with adventure! On 6th October, the École campus stirred to life at 5:30 a.m. as the entire community gathered on the field for the much-awaited Cross Country Marathon.

The sky was still wrapped in darkness, the morning air was cool and crisp, and although a few sleepy faces were still waking up, the excitement was impossible to miss! The sub-juniors took on a 2km run, intermediate category 3kms and the seniors raced across a 4 km stretch, making their way through the beautiful early-morning landscape.

With the mountains stretching quietly alongside them and the freshness of nature all around, the run felt like much more than a race! What made the morning even more special was seeing the entire school community come together, with teachers joining the students on the field and cheering them on. For a while, the usual rush of school life gave way to the sound of footsteps, laughter, encouragement and the quiet beauty of a new day unfolding.

And, of course, the competitive spirit was alive and thriving! By the time the morning drew to a close, the sun was up, the mountains were glowing, and the field was filled with tired but happy faces. It was a beautiful reminder that sometimes, the best journeys begin before the day has even begun.
