Dining Etiquette at Ecole
As part of the Finishing School Programme, students of Classes IV to VIII participated in table etiquette sessions conducted by Ms Atoshi Roy on 10th and 11th October. The sessions introduced them to the essentials of fine dining in a simple, practical and engaging way.
From learning how to use cutlery correctly and handle napkins to understanding the importance of polite table manners, students explored the art of dining through demonstrations and hands-on practice. They then headed to the school cafeteria, where they had the opportunity to put their learning into practice over a real meal.
Beyond the rules of dining, the sessions encouraged students to become more confident, considerate and comfortable in different social settings. After all, good manners are not about getting every little detail perfect but also about making others feel comfortable and respected!
